Norman, Oklahoma based artist/photographer, Debra Van Swearingen, has been honing severaldifferent processes of photography since 1989. She's worked with analog, Polaroid transfers, and hand-colored photography. After working from a studio in the Paseo Arts District of OKC for 20 years, she is now represented at Gallery 123 in Norman, OK. Over the years, her images have transformed into graceful, nature subjects (shown on gilded vellum) meant to provoke deep reverence and spiritual meaning. Her award winning photography has been exhibited in numerous, juried, combined and solo exhibitions.
