I began taking photographs in 2013 when I was 53 years old, during a trip to Patagonia. Although I work as a civil engineer,I am often more captivated by the shapes, lights, and shadows in photography rather than the actual subject. The essay titled "Machu Picchu (A Personal Journey)" was composed in 2 distinct moments: the morning when it was crowed and late afternoon I went back when it was quiet.During these times, when I was alone at the site and away from the morning crowds,I could sense the energy of the place and feel transported to a past that still remains palpable within the buildings.
