Irina Levental, a multifaceted artist based in San Francisco, excels in the fields of photography, authorship, and academic lecturing. Holding a Ph.D. in Linguistics, Levental teaches Russian Language, Literature, and Culture at a college level. Irina's photographic journey began at the tender age of ten when she was first introduced to the world of film photography. Nonetheless, it took her nearly three decades to gather the courage to showcase her artistic endeavours to the world. In 2021, Levental achieved a significant milestone with her inaugural solo exhibition in Saint Petersburg. Since then, her creative work has graced exhibitions and publications not only in her hometown of San Francisco but also in Barcelona, as well as transcending geographical boundaries through online showcases. Levental’s artistic medium of choice has always been film, a preference that manifests in both her street and landscape photography.
